We are an established company with a solid customer and product base creating solutions for collaboration and process enablement.  We are looking for a software architect and developers to become part of a team focused on taking our technology to the next level.

Job description:

• Take charge of re-architecting our products for development in Ruby-on-Rails
• Work closely with business analyst, project manager, and developers to define requirements 
• Implement Rails applications using standards-compliant HTML and CSS 
• Work with developers to define development standards and best practices

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise-level software solutions within M-V-C pattern
• Comfort with Agile development practices and test-driven development 
• Experience architecting using UML and RUP 
• Understanding of software development best practices 
• Ruby-on-Rails experience a plus as well as current knowledge of greater Rails environment, including gems, plugins, and platform direction 
• Database design experience a plus as well
