Turning Purchases into Conversations

We are changing the way people shop, share and save by turning purchases into conversations with friends. We're looking for the next great addition to our team in Providence, RI: someone with strong expertise, ability and passion for Ruby on Rails development to help us deliver an awesome experience to our users.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails
  • Fluency in agile software development and test-driven development
  • Understanding of data-driven applications and systems
  • Ability to dip into a broad range of disciplines and work closely with designers, front-end developers and back-end data wranglers
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • A BS or MS in computer science (or equivalent work experience)
  • Nice to have: contributions to open source Ruby libraries; experience on large-scale Web sites on any platform
