We are a leading outsourced software product development company, looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer join our application development team. This position will collaborate with business analysts, interaction designers, and other developers to build innovative web applications.

We could go into a lot of requirements for this position, but ultimately what we're looking for can be boiled down into one sentence: We're looking for radically strong developers who want to stretch in new directions, who can speak and write as well as they email and IM, and who play well with others.

That being said, we do need to state a few requirements, such as:

• Exceptional skills in Ruby on Rails, DHTML/CSS, AJAX, Postgres, MySQL and Linux
• Strong experience in OOD, web technologies and architectures 
• Practical experience in agile development methodologies (Scrum or eXtreme programming)  
• A passion for technology and can pick up new ideas and skills easily.

We started as Rails programmers ourselves (and are currently working on a few social, facebook, and iPhone apps). This background and network help us identify quality opportunities in the industry.
