About the JobWe are looking for a talented and experienced full-time Web Application Developer to work on our Ruby on Rails website. You will work on a very visible product on a high-traffic site. We are a stable company growing at a fast pace, and we have a relaxed office in old town Pasadena. We provide full salary, stock, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Solid understanding of OO design and all Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)
- Solid understanding of SQL database concepts and performance
- Web application development experience in Ruby on Rails, Java Spring/Struts + Hibernate or other modern MVC framework
- Knowledge of XHTML, JavaScript, CSS
Preferred Skills
- 3+ years software development experience in a Linux/Unix environment
- Experience with high-performance, high-traffic web systems
