Turning Complexity into Structure

We're looking for a passionate developer for our platform team. The ideal candidate is a pragmatist who sees clear solutions and who knows how to turn complexity into well structured, scalable and maintainable solutions. You understand the importance of keeping things clean, and know what works and what doesn't.

Other than having fun with the rest of us, your main responsibilities will include developing new application components as well as refactoring and refining the current code base.

You are well rounded in open source technologies, and have a good understanding of Linux and infrastructure components like mail servers, message queues, databases and caching mechanisms. Persons without Ruby experience, but with a great amount of drive, talent and a burning desire to learn and use Ruby, are also welcome to apply.
