Our growing sports community site built entirely in Ruby on Rails is looking for a young and talented coder to join our young and energetic team in helping to create the next destination site that every sports fan will love, they just don't realize it yet.
We are nearing the end of beta development with launch scheduled for July, but although we have an existing codebase, our developers have wide latitude and responsibilities, as well as the opportunity to work on a live site with good traffic numbers, so they will immediately see the effects of their work.
Plus, while we're a small startup in the pre-funding stage, we are working with some of the best in the industry to build a new home for sports fans on the web. This is an exciting time to join us and be around as we introduce some creative new features that the sports world hasn't seen before.
Our ideal candidate is young, energetic, fresh out of school, and ready to take on a big project. Some experience with agile, test-driven development is necessary but not essential. More than anything, the best fit must have ambition to write great code and the drive to continue to learn, improve, and try new things. Plus, they should like to have fun.

Hi, I’m Brian
I work at mirRoR, where we connect agile Rails developers and employers.
We started as Rails programmers ourselves (and are currently working on a few social, facebook, and iPhone apps). This background and network help us identify quality opportunities in the industry.
That’s especially important today. While many venture-backed web 2.0 startups are cutting costs amidst this economic climate, we are working with a number of companies that are self-sufficient, cash-positive, and well capitalized for the long-term.
I’d be eager to briefly discuss where you are in the process and see if there is a potential fit, either for the opportunities listed here, or those posted elsewhere.
