Experienced Rails developer needed to join a small, but growing and profitable start-up in the Dallas, TX area. We need your help right now and have a ground floor, full-time position waiting for you. We tie together GPS, RFID, and other wireless technologies with smart devices and a kick-butt web-based tracking application. We have big customers, tons of momentum, and big plans.

Skills you’ll need:

• Architectural experience
• Good instincts for building scalable systems
• Rails experience; 3-4 years preferable
• Solid database skills; we use MySQL & MongoDB
• Web standards-based HTML and CSS skills
• Reasonable Javascript skills
• Experience with Google Maps a plus
• Linux sys admin skills (deploy, troubleshoot)

How you’ll help us:

We are supporting an existing system in the short-term, but building a shiny, new evolutionary system for the long-term. You’ll help support our development efforts by fixing those ever-so-tiny bugs that have crept into our application. You’ll also help to design and implement features for our new system.
