Opportunities are available in both Austin, TX and Petaluma, CA for proven technical leaders to develop Ruby on Rails applications and components, as well as develop and present detailed technical specifications based on high-level functional requirements.

You'll be relied on to write and maintain unit and functional tests, maintain and support all solutions, and provide production support on a day-to-day basis, as well as overnight on-call as needed.

This opportunity requires a results-oriented self-starter with a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, 3+ years of web development experience and expertise in Ruby and the Ruby on Rails web application framework.

A solid understanding of the web development process is also necessary, including design, development tools and technologies, and QA. Qualified candidates should also have experience developing database-driven web applications, technical savvy, and excellent communication and organization skills. The ability to analyze and discuss complex design challenges is essential.
