Bring Stock Images to Web 2.0

We are looking for a pair or pod of open-source developers who can develop a Web 2.0 presence for the leader in royalty-free and rights-managed stock images for the professional community.

Do you have 3-5 years experience and a portfolio of sites showing off your work on dynamic websites with standards like CSS, Javascript, and web-oriented open-source languages?

Are you a quick learner?

You'll be responsible for the front end coding using AJAX and Ruby to deliver a premium experience to our customers. Integration with web-services is critical.  Knowledge of UNIX to administer development, testing, and/or production systems is a bonus, strong version-control and change management skills are helpful.

We are looking for the energy and mentality of a start-up team, operating in a well-established player in the field of stock photography.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of dynamic website development with CSS, Javascript, and other open-source languages.
• 2+ years working as a team member
• 2+ years collaborating with both designers and coders
  

Desired skills:

• Experience with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails
• Experience with Python or Perl 
• UNIX systems administration
