We are an Enterprise Web Design firm based in South Austin. We specialize in providing high functionality products to both startup companies and well established businesses.

Our firm's focus is in creating socially driven e-commerce applications, social networks, and other applications tailor made to fit our customer's expectations.

We are currently seeking applications from local candidates with the following qualifications:

Ruby on Rails Developer

• 6 months + experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• 6 months + experience in Javascript 
• Strong understanding of Ajax principals. 
• An understanding of Agile Programming methods is a plus. 
• Should be familiar with Rails standards of testing, database migrations, and plugin functionality. 
• Should have an understanding of Web 2.0 Functionality and Design trends. 
• Should have a solid understanding of SVN or CVS. 
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Duties: To work with other in house developers to create custom websites and web based solutions for our clients. As part of the team, you may be required to create and optimize database structures for high load websites, create source code for frontend and backend applications, participate in planning and documentation meetings, and work within the team to produce the best product possible.

Ruby on Rails Quality Assurance Tester

• 6 months + experience in Ruby on Rails with a focus on Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development.
• Ability to quickly code test cases and anticipate potential failure points within an application. 
• Ability to work within a team to test and progress development of an application.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Must have excellent attention to detail and be meticulously detail oriented.

Duties: You will be required to take our system requirements and turn these into real world test cases which can be implemented and tested within the scope of our applications. You will write automated tests in Rails and be free to utilize any application (such as Selenium) which will help us turn out a better product which is free from unknown bugs.As bugs are found, you will be required to report these bugs to our Issue Tracking software and follow up on fixed bugs to ensure that their solution accurately addresses the issue.

Ruby on Rails Front End Developer

• 2 Years + in (X)HTML and CSS knowledge
• an understanding of browser compatibility bugs and their solutions where CSS is concerned. 
• 1 Year + in Javascript programming with a focus on Ajax implementation 
• 1 Year + experience producing graphical mockups for web sites with a focus in Web 2.0 Styles. 
• A firm understanding of web design usability 'best practices'

Duties: You will be involved in all steps of our projects and work closely with our developers to plan, design, and style the applications we create. Your will be looked to to provide guidance on usability and will be required to create skeletal mockups which help to demonstrate the functionality for our clients. Our developers will extend your skeletal designs with functional code. During which time you will be required to finalize the design and layout of the skeletons in preparation for the final implementation of your design.

When it comes to design, you are king. You have a strong hand in the included features and their final implementation. If our sites don't look good, then they wont work well. Understanding this, you must be able to visualize the final product in your head and provide feedback within our strategic meetings.
