Use Rails to share Wisdom

wis.dm is searching for a Ruby on Rails developer to join our small core engineering team. A candidate must have exemplary code-design skills, be fluent in the idioms of Rails and MVC architectures, and harbor fantasies of building the best damn applications out there. Desire to work in a close-knit team and be a self-starter on meaty development tasks a must.

Required Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years experience building customer-facing web applications 
• Experience implementing complex XHTML/CSS/JavaScript applications 
• Recent experience with Ruby on Rails 
• Commitment to and expertise in creating superior user experiences 
• Proficiency with SQL (MySQL or equivalent) and comfortably with DB administration/optimization 
• Fluent in Unix environments (Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, etc.) 
• Experience with memcached, apache, nginx, mongrel a plus 
• Desire to learn new technologies, and master ones you know
