Looking for an excellent, versatile, knows-his-or-her-shit coder...nothing else will do. We are a fast-rising startup with the ambition to corner the sports market online the way ESPN and others can't.

We are hiring a superstar developer to join our team, someone who can master our site development from back-end to front-end, concept to execution, design, to development, to deployment to maintenance. You must be at an expert level with Rails, Javascript, and MySQL, and have advanced knowledge of CSS and UNIX Systems Administration. Oh, and also, you gotta like sports (or at least be willing to b.s. about them with us).

About our team: We're young, savvy, and have the drive to work day and night until our stated goal of becoming the destination content and community site for sports fans is achieved. Our team is small but growing, and you'll have the opportunity to get in early and set the direction for the rest of our development team. Our group of advisers is out of this world, and we are in the midst of closing our first round of funding from a group of high profile investors.

About our business: We just launched our flagship site, a sports community that is built on a collaborative publishing platform, with the goal of creating the most dynamic sports community on or off the web driven by the best unique content and greatest depth of content anywhere. We've been operating a proof of concept site for most of the past year which has proven our model and given us a great core of users to help launch our new site with. Oh, and we have a Facebook application that is one of the top five sports applications on Facebook.

We've got several developments in the works, from new sites, to new applications, to a unique ad model, to partnerships with some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. We're looking for a rock star coder to start right away and get ready to kick ass, write great code, and have fun.
