Mirror Placement is a Boston recruiting firm and a division of Atlantis Technology Corporation, a software engineering firm. Mirror was founded in 2006 to connect engineers with the companies that hire them.

Our content

The writing, design and the game on this site belong to Mirror Placement. Please don’t copy them wholesale. If you want to reference something, ask; we usually say yes.

Everything here is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate and current, and we make no promises about completeness or accuracy.

Limitation of liability

Mirror Placement, Atlantis Technology Corporation and their partners aren’t liable for damages arising from your use of this site.

We link to other sites. We aren’t responsible for their content or their policies.

Privacy policy

What we collect

Basic analytics: IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and when, through Google Analytics (GA4, with IP anonymization) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (which sets no cookies). If you use the contact form, what you type is emailed to Brian and Jonathan at Mirror and kept so we can continue the conversation; it isn’t stored by any other service. If you email or call, same thing. If you’re an engineer, we may keep your information on file so we can get in touch about the right opportunity; you can ask us to remove it at any time. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Cookies and local storage

Cookies are used for basic site analytics, not to track you across other sites. The game on the home page remembers your best score in your own browser and nowhere else. You can disable cookies and local storage; the site still works.

How we use your information

To respond to you, to improve the site, and, for engineers, to tell you about opportunities you’ve said you want to hear about. We don’t sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling.

Third parties

Hosting, analytics and delivery of the contact-form email are handled by Cloudflare; analytics and the booking calendar by Google. They process data under our instructions. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Search engines and AI

The public pages of this site, including the brand facts page, may be read and indexed by search engines and AI systems. Nothing you send through the form is published anywhere.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, ask us to stop processing it, or request an export. Email brian@mirrorplacement.com.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top changes when we do. We won’t email you about changes.
